Well...

I expect somebody with more than 20 years of trading experience to know something basic about CPF trade. No, he didnt.

Today a client called us to check on CPF trade. Her first time, also my first time.

Simple question like, when can a client sell the shares when the purchase was done on Monday.

HE DUNNO LOR!!

Fed up lor!!!!!

Heng ar, after consulting J and C, the answer is out!

One can sell the shares on the next day (after buying the shares) using CPF!!

sigh....

Issue: Dividends

Most of the people know that if one investor buys stock which is declaring a dividend before its Ex-date, is entitled to....

DIVIDENDS!

BEE:"Ernie, do you know if Mr XXX is entitled to dividends?"

ME: "If he still has the shares before ex-date, he is entitled to."

BEE: "I remember its one day before rite?"

ME:"Huh? what one day before?"

BEE:" One day before lor. To be entitled to dividends."

ME: "I dun understand what you are talking about...."

BEE:"Its ok. I go find out." (Checking everywhere in the company)

BEE:" Ernie, Mr XXX is entitled to dividends!" (Remember I mentioned earlier that the client is entitled to dividends? DUH... and he cont..) "Let me explain. If the client has the shares before the ex-date, he is entitled to dividends. It applies even one day before the ex-date. Still in time."

All about 10 promises to my dog

Claudia sms-ed me on Thurs that she has watched the movie and reminded me to bring tissues. I reckon it must be very touching as Claudia mentioned that she has never cried in cinema and she wanted to hug Tristan (her Border Collie) in that instant.

I can understand her feeling as I used to have a dog, Kelly. When Kelly passed away, I refused to go to work and locked myself in my room, at a corner where she used to sleep. And, I hated everything and questioned why God took her away from me. I wanted to hug her one more time, but I do not have a chance anymore. Kelly has gone over to the rainbow bridge after staying with us for 17 years since i was 8.

If you ask me if I am prepared to watch this show, I can only say.. I am not ready. I know I will definately cry during the show, Kelly's images will re-appear in my mind (i tried so hard to forget as whenever i miss her, i cry. So, i try not to think about her so much) and my entire day should be very moody.

So still, go catch it. Good movies are hard to find nowadays..

Last week, James and I went to Ang Mo Kio CC, purpose was to support both Magic and Tristan, the border collies.

Just some intro, Tristan is Magic's son. So, its actually a family reunion session, together with Star (Magic's daughter) and Momo (Magic's another son).

Of cos there were many many other dogs such as Golden Retrivers, Labradors, Huskys, toy dogs like Poms, Maltese, Shih Tsus.

Thou both didnt win anything, but i bet both Magic and Tristan enjoyed their dog day!
